A high voltage drama was witnessed at the police station in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. The young man told his brother-in-law that ‘I will not take your sister home, come on the next date’. ‘I am a district panchayat member. No one can do anything to me’. On hearing this, the brother-in-law took out his belt and ran after his brother-in-law. During this, the boy from the boy’s side snatched the brother-in-law’s phone and smashed it against the wall.

On Sunday, 140 cases reached the counselling centre in the police line for public hearing. A case from the police station Kiravali area also reached. There was a dispute going on between the husband and wife. Both the parties were called for counselling in the counselling centre. After counselling, the husband and wife were advised to talk to each other and reach a compromise.

After the conversation, the girl’s brother asked the brother-in-law to take his sister to her in-laws’ house. During this, the brother-in-law did not take his wife home and asked the girl’s side to come on the next date. After this, the people of the girl’s side created a ruckus. The girl’s brother took out his belt and chased his brother-in-law till the gate.

The girl’s side said that there must have been a district panchayat member in their family sometime ago. But, till date he drives his car with district panchayat member written on it. He harasses his sister. Due to which, the matter was compelled to go out of the house and reach the police.
